Shipping Policy for all order

 1. Order Processing & Phytosanitary Certification

For Our Shipping Policy to comply with international agricultural regulations, every order undergoes a meticulous preparation process:

Processing Time: We require 3-5 business days to select the healthiest plants, clean them according to export standards, and obtain the mandatory Phytosanitary Certificate from the Department of Agriculture, Thailand.

Expert Packing: Our team uses professional techniques to secure roots and foliage for long-distance travel.

2. International Delivery Times & Carriers

We partner with leading logistics providers to ensure fast and reliable delivery:

Estimated Delivery: 5-15 business days once the shipment leaves our nursery.

Our Carriers: We ship via trusted international couriers, including Dragon Courier, DHL, and UPS.

Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email immediately after your package is dispatched.

3. Shipping Rates & Destinations

Calculated at Checkout: Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the total weight of your order and the destination country.

Global Export: We ship to most countries, including the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Please ensure your country allows plant imports before purchasing.

4. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

Buyer Responsibility: Please note that customers are responsible for any local customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees required by their respective countries.

Import Permits: Some countries (such as the USA for orders over 12 plants) may require an Import Permit. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide this document to us.

5. Our Professional Plant Packaging Process

At BK Interplants, we understand that shipping live tropical plants across the globe requires more than just a box. Our team has over 20 years of experience in botanical logistics.

Root Preparation: We carefully clean and wrap the roots in high-quality sphagnum moss or specialized moisture-retaining materials to ensure the plant remains hydrated without causing root rot during transit.

Foliage Protection: Each leaf of our rare Monsteras or Philodendrons is protected with soft paper or protective sleeves to prevent bruising or tearing.

Secured Box Construction: We use double-walled, heavy-duty corrugated boxes. The plants are secured to the inner walls to prevent movement, even if the box is handled roughly by couriers.

6. Understanding the Phytosanitary Certification

As a registered plant exporter in Thailand, every shipment from BK Interplants comes with an official Phytosanitary Certificate.

Regulatory Compliance: This document is issued by the Department of Agriculture, Thailand, certifying that your plants are free from pests and diseases and meet the import requirements of your country.

Smooth Customs Clearance: Having the correct export documents is the key to avoiding delays or confiscation at customs. We handle all the paperwork for you, so you can focus on welcoming your new green companions.

7. Seasonal Shipping & Temperature Control

To maintain our high standards as part of our Shipping Policy, we monitor global weather patterns daily, ensuring your plants travel in the safest conditions possible.

  • Climate-Controlled Shipping: We use specialized logistics to maintain a stable temperature, protecting plants from heat stress or freezing during transit.

  • Winter Protection: During cold seasons, we provide 72h-96h heat packs and thermal insulation for the USA, Europe, and Canada.

  • Summer Heat Care: We use reflective liners and may delay shipping during extreme heatwaves to ensure your plant arrives 100% healthy.

  • Customized Hydration: Our packing method is adjusted seasonally to prevent root rot or dehydration, ensuring the best arrival condition.

 8. Tracking Your International Shipment

Once your order is dispatched via UPS or Thailand Post, you will receive a confirmation email containing your unique tracking number.

Real-Time Updates: You can monitor your package’s journey directly on the carrier’s website.

Delivery Notifications: We recommend signing up for SMS or email alerts from the courier to ensure someone is available to receive the plants on the day of arrival.
